Location: LondonSalary: £63,606 - £65,509 + Excellent Benefits Full-time, PermanentAbout the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Maintenance to join a leading London based university, overseeing the operational delivery of maintenance services across a large and complex campus.This role is responsible for managing hard FM services, ensuring statutory compliance, and driving high-quality maintenance delivery across a diverse estate including teaching facilities, laboratories, offices and student accommodation.You will play a key role in ensuring that all buildings and infrastructure are maintained safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory standards while delivering a first-class service to stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day to day delivery of maintenance operations across the campus estateManage outsourced hard FM contracts, ensuring SLA and KPI performanceOversee both reactive and planned maintenance programmesEnsure full compliance with statutory regulations (including asbestos, L8, HV/LV, fire systems, electrical testing and more)Manage maintenance budgets and provide regular financial reportingMonitor contractor performance, audits, and quality of service deliveryReview and approve additional works outside contract scopeMaintain and manage asset registers and condition surveysLead on health and safety, risk assessments (RAMS) and safe systems of workAnalyse building performance data to improve efficiency and reduce costsAct ..... full job details .....
