Head of Logistics

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Logistics to join our client''s organisation on an interim basis. This role will focus on strengthening the infrastructure, processes and reporting.This role with have a strong focus on operational transformation, giving you the opportunity to assess how things currently work, identify inefficiencies and introduce practical improvements that will have a lasting impact.Working across departments, you will take ownership of a programme designed to improve visibility, control and consistency across the warehouse and inventory environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct a detailed review of existing warehouse, stock and replenishment processes across multiple locations.Analyse the movement of products and information from warehouse through to the retail environment, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and control.Review existing inventory processes and system usage, introducing stronger controls where required.Develop and document improved operating procedures, ensuring processes are clear, consistent and scalable.Introduce meaningful operational measures and KPIs to provide greater visibility of performance.Build effective reporting tools and dashboards to support informed operational decision-making.Establish appropriate reporting routines and governance processes across relevant teams.Use operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies and areas for improvement.Recommend and implement practical ..... full job details .....
