Head of Legal ServicesJob Type: Full-time, RemoteLocation: RemoteSalary: CompetitiveMy client, a leading recycling and resource recovery company, are seeking a Head of Legal Services to oversee a diverse range of legal responsibilities, including contracts, disputes, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and more. This stand-alone role reports directly to the CFO and offers the opportunity to shape the legal framework of a company that plays a crucial role in resource recovery and environmental services.Day-to-day of the role:Manage a varied caseload including contract reviews, disputes with customers and clients, and mergers and acquisitions.Handle legal matters related to property, compliance, data privacy, and intellectual property.Provide strategic legal advice and support to the senior management team.Oversee and manage external legal resources and counsel as needed.Prepare and review legal documentation and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a sole in-house counsel, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or operational business.Strong background in handling a wide range of legal issues including contracts, disputes, and compliance.Excellent legal, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage a comprehensive legal function.Qualified lawyer with a valid license to practice.Benefits:Competitive pension scheme.Annual leave that increases with service.Comprehensive health ..... full job details .....
