Head of Legal - Membership Organisation
Our client, a leading organisation in the recruitment sector, is seeking an experienced legal professional to lead its in house advice team and support members on a wide range of employment, commercial, and regulatory matters. You will manage a small legal advice team, oversee service delivery, and act as a senior escalation point for complex queries. The role also includes analysing draft legislation, contributing to consultation responses, and helping shape the future of the recruitment industry.Key Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and develop the legal advice teamProvide timely, accurate advice on employment, commercial, and regulatory issuesOversee contracts, templates, and legal resourcesDeliver training and produce legal guidance for membersSupport policy work and legislative analysisProvide internal legal support across the organisationSkills and Experience:UK qualified solicitor (2 3+ PQE) or equivalent experience in recruitment related legal issuesStrong working knowledge of employment lawConfident managing specialists and subject matter expertsClear, effective written and verbal communicationCalm under pressure with strong organisational skillsCurious, proactive, and keen to drive innovationThe ideal candidate will be a fully qualified UK solicitor with 2 3 years PQE, ideally with experience in Employment Law, GDPR, and the Agency Workers Regulations.
