Head of Investigations (General) Are you a leader with extensive regulatory experience from a professional service or risk-based regulator? Do you have significant law practice experience and excel in decision-making on complex investigations? We are looking to appoint a Head of Investigations (General) to join our growing Investigations and Enforcement directorate in our Birmingham, Cardiff or London offices. The role The Head of Investigations leads teams that investigate reports of serious misconduct, delivering the highest standards in the quality and timeliness of investigations with outcomes that protect the public and uphold high professional standards, providing a credible deterrence for the regulated community. You will contribute to the effective leadership of the Investigations department and the broader Investigations and Enforcement directorate. Your key responsibilities include leading investigations to meet case handling standards and timely key performance indicators (KPIs). You will ensure high-quality, risk-based decision-making across teams, guided by our enforcement strategy. Additionally, you will enhance technical skills within the team, ensuring top-notch investigations and customer service. Effective team management is also a crucial aspect of this role.
