Head of HR

We are recruiting for a commercial Head of HR to lead a team of generalist HR and Learning and Development professionals. Working for a multi-site operation, the company are based on the outskirts of Winchester, with easy access from Winchester, Southampton, Andover and surrounding areas. This managerial role will be involved with all aspects of HR and being a hands on, yet commercial leader. Leading the HR team will involve the following responsibilities: Full involvement with HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, performance processes and HR administration Engaging with managers and senior managers across the business and developing strong working relationships to support them with day to day HR matters Responsibility for the HR and LandD budget, including forecasting, reporting and cost control Assisting managers with recruitment, including job descriptions, selection process and onboarding Working with the senior management team to facilitate change and ensure that the HR team are continuing to evolve Travel to different business locations to support managers, build effective working relationships and ensure visibility of the HR function across the business My client is looking for an HR professional who has experience of managing others within an HR team, ideally within the retail or hospitality industry.
