Head of Housing Asset Management

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Housing Asset Management to start on a 5 month initial contract ASAP.

The main projects as part of this role will include:

• Creation of a decision making process and methodology to consider the viability of assets post the building reviews (SCS, compartmentalisation, building safety).
• Creation of a 30 year housing asset management plan
• Set up a thorough assets register
• Introduce “smart” component replacement
• Skills development / transfer in service

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Housing Asset Management with excellent strategy, investment and leadership with experience in a Housing Association, Social Housing or Local Authority based environment. You will have expertise across development and build, investment and strategic asset management, repairs and maintenance both planned and reactive.
