Midland Care Home is a beautiful care home in Wellingborough, and our goal is to provide the highest level of care and service to the people living here. Welcome to Midland Care Home! We are a purpose-built care home that cares for up to 60 individuals with different levels of care needs. We are looking for an individual to join our ''Head of Departments'' team, leading our large team of ancillary staff, including housekeeping staff, laundry staff, and maintenance. We expect hotel style standards here at Midland and therefore require somebody that will continue to lead the way towards this level of service. Responsibilities: Lead and supervise your staff team ensuring adequate cover in the various departments Produce weekly rotas for the departments. Manage, supervise, and work alongside a team of ancillary staff and induct new members of the team. Ensure scheduled and general repairs, renovations, maintenance, refurbishments, and decoration requirements are actioned and completed. Conduct regular ''walk about'' inspections of the home to identify maintenance or improvement needs and address them promptly. Ensure all areas of your departments are fully stocked. Meet with the Manager daily to feedback on your departments and take instruction of anything that is needed urgently. For example - ..... full job details .....
