Head of Health and SafetyLocation - North East WalesDuration - Interim for 3-4 months initially however this will be reviewed with the potential to extend furtherDay rate - Negotiable depending on experienceMonday - Friday - 37.5 hours a weekSellick Partnership are supporting a public sector organisation with the recruitment of a Head of Health and Safety to provide operational leadership and strategic oversight on Health and Safety, environmental and sustainability matters, ensuring the effective management of risk, compliance with statutory obligations, incident management, resilience planning and the delivery of a positive safety and sustainability culture across all activities.Key responsibilities for the Head of Health and SafetyProvide strategic leadership and operational oversight of health and safety, environmental management and sustainability.Ensure appropriate management systems, policies and procedures are developed, implemented, maintained and regularly reviewed.Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, environmental regulations and statutory obligations.Oversee the identification and management of significant hazards, ensuring appropriate risk assessments are completed and reviewed.Ensure workplace safety inspections are undertaken at least annually, with appropriate action taken to address identified risks and areas for improvement.Lead the effective management, investigation and reporting of incidents, ensuring lessons learned are ..... full job details .....
