Head of Health and SafetyResidential Developer LondonThe OpportunityAn established residential developer is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Health and Safety to lead and develop its health and safety function across a portfolio of residential construction projects, including high-rise developments and fire safety remediation schemes.This is a senior, hands-on position offering the opportunity to shape company-wide safety standards, influence operational decision-making and work closely with directors, project teams and external contractors.The successful candidate will take responsibility for driving a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance and embedding best practice throughout the business. They will combine strong technical knowledge with a practical, commercially aware approach to managing risk across live construction environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the ongoing development and implementation of the company''s Health and Safety strategy, policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with relevant UK legislation, construction regulations and recognised industry standards.Oversee health and safety performance across multiple residential developments, including high-rise schemes and fire safety projects.Carry out site visits, inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and ensuring appropriate corrective measures are implemented.Manage the investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses, establishing root causes and preventing ..... full job details .....
