MCR are recruiting for an experienced and proactive Head of Health and Safety for our client, to lead and develop the organisation''s health, safety, and compliance strategy to ISO 45001. This is a senior leadership position responsible for ensuring full compliance with UK Health and Safety legislation, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and embedding a strong safety culture across the business. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated Health and Safety leader and will be a qualified Health and Safety professional holding a NEBOSH qualification and IOSH membership (CMIOSH, Grad IOSH, or equivalent), with substantial experience gained within an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, warehousing, or heavy operational environment. They will possess proven expertise in PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, and DSE compliance, alongside the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company''s Health and Safety strategy in line with business objectives. Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leadership on all Health and Safety matters. Promote a positive and proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.
