Head of Growth

Security Clearance: DV Preferred (Current or Previously Held)

We are seeking a highly credible senior Defence leader to drive growth, shape strategic opportunities and build lasting relationships across the UK Defence community.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the future direction of major Defence programmes spanning:

• Command & Control (C2)
• Secure Communications
• Defence Digital
• Systems Integration
• Counter-UAS
• Data & AI-enabled Decision Support
• Secure Infrastructure
• Defence Logistics & Support Services

Working closely with senior military, government and industry stakeholders, you will identify and shape high-value opportunities, develop long-term growth strategies and help position the business at the forefront of Defence innovation.

• Developing and executing Defence growth strategies and market roadmaps
• Building trusted relationships across the MOD, Defence Digital, DE&S, NATO and the wider Defence community
• Identifying, qualifying and shaping strategic opportunities before formal bid activity
• Developing win strategies, investment cases and partnership approaches
• Supporting pre-sales, customer engagement and business growth activities
• Creating and managing strategic partnerships across the Defence ecosystem
• Acting as a senior representative at customer, industry and Defence engagement events

• Strong MOD and Defence stakeholder network
• Experience in Defence growth, strategy, business development or capability development
• Knowledge of Command & Control, Secure Communications, Defence Digital, Systems Integration or related Defence technologies
• Strong commercial awareness and opportunity-shaping experience
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to influence senior military, government and industry stakeholders
• Experience operating within complex Defence or National Security environments

We are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who have operated at senior leadership level within the Armed Forces, Defence industry or Government, including:

• Commander
• Captain
• Colonel
• Brigadier
• Wing Commander
• Commodore
• Air Commodore
• Rear Admiral / Admiral

Current DV clearance is highly desirable, although candidates who have previously held DV clearance are also encouraged to apply.
