Head of Group Reporting and Financial ControlContract - Inside IR35

Hybrid - London (1 day a week onsite)

The Head of Group Reporting and Financial Control is a critical role within this company, responsible for leading the team and driving the year-end process. As the Head of Group Reporting and Financial Control, you will be the trusted advisor to the CFO, providing financial reporting and strategic insights to support the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation and analysis of the company''s financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, driving efficiency and enhancing financial controls

Provide expert guidance and support to the business on complex accounting and reporting matters

Contribute to the strategic decision-making process by delivering insightful financial analysis and recommendations

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a listed company or a global, multi-national organisation

Excellent knowledge of financial reporting, governance, and control frameworks

Strong project management skills, particularly in the context of audits and change management

Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
