Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective line management and support for Geography staff.
• Oversee the planning, delivery, and assessment of the Geography curriculum.
• Encourage innovation and the sharing of best practice within the department.
• Manage departmental resources and budget effectively.
• Liaise with parents and other stakeholders regarding student progress in Geography.
• Contribute to the wider leadership structure of the school.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Geography or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience teaching Geography at secondary level, including A-Level.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
