Head of Fundraising

The Kirkwood provide specialist palliative care to people affected by a life limiting illness across Kirklees. From the moment a patient receives a diagnosis, specialist palliative care is provided every step of the way - whether in the In-Patient Unit and Support and Therapy Centre in Huddersfield, or in patients'' own homes. They are the only charity providing these vital services in the area. We are thrilled to be working with The Kirkwood to recruit their new Head of Fundraising. This is a pivotal role focusing on growing and strengthening sustainable income streams, to enable their vital services to continue and allow them to reach more people. The Role This is a strategic role reporting into the Director of Fundraising and Marketing. As Head of Fundraising, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering the fundraising strategy. Key responsibilities include: Supporting and motivating a passionate fundraising team, including Community, Events, In Memory and Individual Giving. Diversifying and developing income, with a focus on major donor and legacy giving. Ensuring the delivery of exceptional supporter experience, and stewardship journeys. Setting, monitoring, analysing and reporting on budgets, and on financial and non-financial performance.
