DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting and Statutory Accounts: Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts, and ensuring compliance with Charity Commission regulations and FRS 102.Ledger and Accruals: Manage complex ledger postings, including accruals, prepayments, and deferred income, ensuring accuracy in financial records.Financial Control and Audit: Maintain robust financial controls, lead audit preparation, and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.Budgeting and Strategy: Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis process to ensure long-term financial sustainability for the Foundation.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax requirements (including VAT and Gift Aid) and regulatory obligationsProfileA successful Head of Foundation Finance should have: Qualification: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
