Head of FM and Capital Projects (Interim) Location: London Borough of Bexley Contract: 6 Months (with potential extension) Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35) Reference: Aatom Recruitment Aatom Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Head of FM and Capital Projects (Interim) on behalf of a Local Authority in Bexley. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Facilities Management and Property professional to lead the strategic delivery of Facilities Management services, property asset management and capital projects across the Council''s operational estate. The Role Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance and Property, you will provide strategic leadership and direction for the Council''s Facilities Management function, ensuring the effective management, maintenance and compliance of a diverse property portfolio. You will lead the development and implementation of FM strategies, oversee contractor performance, ensure statutory compliance, and drive sustainability and net-zero initiatives across the Council''s assets. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Council''s Facilities Management and building services function across corporate properties and partner services. Develop and implement FM strategies, policies and governance arrangements to ensure effective service delivery. Oversee the management and maintenance of the Council''s property assets, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
