Head Of Fleet Delivery

Role: Head of Fleet Delivery Location: Aylesbury Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Up to £105,000 per annum Job Purpose Delivery of the fleet for daily service. Line management of all staff at all depots including train presentation. Provide strategic and operational leadership across all fleet depots to ensure safe, reliable and efficient delivery of the train service. Ensure fleet maintenance, servicing and presentation activities are delivered to the highest safety and quality standards. Work closely with Operations, Fleet Planning and Engineering teams to maximise fleet availability and performance. Lead the effective use of people, materials and resources to support operational delivery. Key Accountabilities Ensure the fleet is available, maintained and presented to support daily train service delivery. Provide leadership and direction to depot management teams across all fleet locations. Ensure safe, compliant and efficient depot operations in line with the Safety Management System and industry standards. Deliver fleet availability, reliability and presentation targets to support operational performance. Work closely with Fleet Planning, Fleet Control and Operations teams to ensure trains are in the right place at the right time. Monitor fleet performance and implement improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve reliability.
