Head of Financial Strategy

The Head of Financial Strategy will oversee financial planning and provide strategic direction to support the organisation''s objectives. Client Details A London Local Government Organisation. Description Deliver the corporate plan on time and to budget Create and build effective relationships internally and externally with key stakeholders. Be accountable for delivering the MTFS plan Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies. Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities. Lead initiatives to improve financial efficiency and sustainability. Collaborate with various departments like councillors and other boroughs. Manage and develop the finance team - 4 reports. Profile A successful Head of Financial Strategy will have: Proven Head of Finance experience in financial planning and strategy within Local Government. Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles. Expertise in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders. Relevant professional qualifications in accounting or finance.
