My Client, on of the leading suppliers of Social Housing, Care Homes and Student accomodation in the UK are looking for a Head of Financial Reporting for their offices in Worcester. The job sits within Group Financial Services which is responsible for all aspects of accounting for the Group. This includes the provision of financial and management accounting services, financial analysis, preparation of annual budgets, treasury, tax and VAT management. The job holder will ensure that they fully understand and fulfil their responsibilities in respect of both Health and Safety and Equality and Diversity at all times. To manage an effective financial accounting, guidance and support service to drive better financial performance, implementing appropriate controls to enable the Group to achieve its business objectives and regulatory requirementsThis profile is not an exhaustive list of duties and other activities may need to be carried out requiring similar skill levels. Manage the centralised Financial Reporting team to deliver high quality and cost effective services, including the preparation of accurate management and statutory accounts, to support the needs of the Group and enable them to perform at consistently high levels as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
