Head of Financial Reporting role at Squarepoint. The Head of Financial Reporting is a critical role that will oversee the preparation of all external financial reports for Squarepoint. The ideal candidate will have started their career in public accounting before moving onto an External Reporting group on the private side.Responsibilities

Preparation of annual external financial reports for all Squarepoint entities, consolidated and stand aloneEnsure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and applicable regulatory requirementsInteract with external auditors and regulatory bodiesProvide expert advice on technical accounting and reporting mattersParticipate in the development of accounting policies and proceduresSupport the CFO and other senior executives with financial analysis and strategic initiativesDrive continuous improvement in the financial reporting processRequired Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in accountingCPA certification requiredDeep expertise in U.S. GAAP and proven ability to apply guidance to complex and evolving business scenarios8+ years of experiencePublic accounting experienceExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExposure to technical accounting as it relates to both investment fund accounting and corporate accountingHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentNice to have

Knowledge of financial reporting requirements for physical commodities is a big plusSenioriry level
