Head of Finance

An international group of companies based in Wakefield currently has a unique opportunity for a Senior Head of Finance / Financial Controller to join the organisation at a particularly exciting stage in its growth journey.Reporting directly into the leadership team and operating as the number one finance professional within the business, you will play a key role in both the financial and commercial aspects of driving future growth, performance and operational improvement across the Group.Key responsibilities will include:Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including consolidated management accounts.Monitoring cash flow across multiple entities and jurisdictions.Managing banking relationships and overseeing key financial transactions.Providing strategic financial insight and support for investment and business decisions.Taking ownership of the purchase ledger function to ensure liabilities are managed and paid on a timely basis.Overseeing the sales ledger function, ensuring robust credit control procedures are maintained.Acting as a key point of contact between the business, investors, auditors and banking partners.Reviewing and enhancing internal controls, systems and financial processes where appropriate.Leading and developing the finance function, allocating responsibilities in line with individual strengths and capabilities.Monitoring and supporting the financial evolution of the Group as it continues to expand.To be ..... full job details .....
