Head Of Finance

I’m recruiting for a Head of Finance to join a growing, product-led B2C ecommerce business.

This is a broad, commercially focused role offering the opportunity to lead the finance agenda while playing a central part in the continued development of the business. Alongside maintaining strong financial control, reporting and planning, you’ll provide the insight needed to improve performance and support better commercial decisions.

Your focus will include:

• Leading financial control, month-end, reporting and forecasting

• Improving product margins and overall profitability

• Analysing and optimising operational and fulfilment costs

• Understanding customer, product and channel profitability

• Evaluating the economics of different routes to market

• Providing insight to support pricing, product and investment decisions

• Partnering with senior stakeholders to turn financial analysis into practical action

• Developing the quality and commercial value of financial information across the business

Strong ecommerce experience is essential. You’ll need a clear understanding of the commercial drivers of an online, product-led business, including margins, customer acquisition, sales channels, stock and operational costs.

We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded finance leader who combines strong technical foundations with the energy and curiosity to understand what drives performance and identify how it can be improved.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and wants to make a visible contribution beyond the traditional finance remit.
