Head of Finance

A well-established organisation is partnering with Robertson Bell to recruit a Head of Finance on a permanent basis. This is a broad and influential role for an experienced finance professional looking to take ownership of the finance function, provide strategic insight and lead a capable team. The role Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for the effective delivery and development of the finance function, balancing strong technical oversight with commercial and strategic thinking. Key responsibilities will include: Lead and develop the finance team, creating a supportive, accountable and high-performing culture. Oversee the production of accurate monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial reporting. Take ownership of the annual budgeting and year-end processes. Provide clear financial insight and challenge to senior stakeholders, helping drive effective decision-making. Oversee cashflow, financial controls, compliance and risk management. Support senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders with financial reporting, analysis and recommendations. Drive improvements to finance systems, processes and controls. Ensure the organisation maintains strong financial governance and reporting standards.
