Head of Finance Operations

We are supporting a high-growth, investment-backed business operating in a capital-intensive, project-led environment. Having scaled rapidly over recent years, the organisation is now entering a new phase of growth and is looking to strengthen its finance function to support this next stage.As Head of Finance Operations, you will take ownership of the finance operations function and play a key role in developing the systems, processes, and team required to support continued growth.This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a dynamic SME / scale-up environment, with exposure to both operational detail and strategic decision-making.Key remits to the role will include;Lead and develop the finance operations function in a high-growth environmentOwn and enhance the finance systems landscape, including ERP optimisationEnsure Systems support statutory reporting, management reporting, audit and controls frameworksDevelop and mentor the finance team, building capability and structurePartner with senior stakeholders and contribute to commercial and strategic decision-makingOperate as a hands-on leader, balancing delivery with leadershipReview customer and supplier contractsOwn relationships with banks and debt providersThe ideal candidate will beQualified accountant with 7+ years PQE in a similar roleProven experience designing, implementing, and developing financial systems, processes, and policies, including integration with wider business ..... full job details .....
