The Role Reporting to the Director of Finance and responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the charity, this role has a broad remit, and will require the successful candidate to be tech and IT savvy and confident using Excel based models. Responsibilities will include the following: Leadership of small finance team Business partnering with various stakeholders and budget holders Lead financial modelling and scenario planning to support medium and long-term plans Review financial reports, including management accounts, budgets and forecasts, and provide meaningful narrative Running year-end audit process Review and approve weekly cash flow forecast and ensure efficient treasury management Help drive innovation and change, and support with projects from a finance perspective The Person The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (or QBE) with charity or not-for-profit finance experience, or strong transferable experience and a good understanding of how charity finance works.
