Head of Finance Salary: £90,000 to £120,000 plus discretionary bonus Location: Mayfair, London Working arrangement: Hybrid, three days per week in the office MFK Recruitment is partnering with a growing energy startup to recruit a Head of Finance. This is a niche appointment. You must have worked within the finance function of a business that supplies electricity to domestic or business customers. Experience in renewable energy, generation or power trading alone will unfortunately not meet this requirement. We are looking for someone who understands the financial data, reconciliations and cash flows behind an electricity supply business. The company is a licensed electricity supplier with its own software platform. It supplies and trades power, manages a portfolio of embedded generation sites and is building the technology that supports its operations. MFK Recruitment has recruited four people into this business over the past 18 months, and all four are still with the company. The opportunity As Head of Finance, you will become the sole finance person in the company, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team. An external finance function currently supports the business and will provide an initial handover. You will then take ownership of finance and build the processes, controls and reporting needed as the company grows. This is a hands-on role in an energy startup.
