purpose-led brand .Key Responsibilities

Financial Control and ReportingOwn the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysisProduce timely management accounts and board packs, with commercial insights and KPI dashboardsMaintain strong balance sheet control, including stock, accruals, and prepaymentsManage cash flow forecasting and cash planning? Systems, Processes and ControlsOversee day-to-day finance operations, working with the bookkeeper and operations to ensure purchase orders, invoices, payments, and reconciliations are accurate and timelyReview and strengthen internal systems, processes, and controls across finance, production, and fulfilmentImplement a stock management system with a 3-way match PO process and reporting (GRNI and GINR)Develop stock accounting and COGS tracking processes that align finance with production and fulfilmentStrategic and CommercialPartner with founders to provide financial insight for decision-making and growth planningBuild budgets, forecasts, and scenario models to support strategic initiativesAnalyse sales channels, margins, and promotionsSupport pricing, NPD, and supply chain decisions with financial analysisLeadership and Team DevelopmentOversee the freelance bookkeeper and Operations Assistant, providing oversight and upskilling where requiredAct as the finance lead with the external accountantsAbout YouQualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years PQEProven experience in consumer products, FMCG, or ecommerceStrong technical accounting and financial control background, ideally in SMEs or scale-upsExcellent understanding of stock, COGS, and margin analysis in a high SKU count product-based business is vitalConfident working with
