E-commerce Head of Finance (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) East Sussex (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 home) Up to £90,000 plus benefitsGrafton Banks Finance is exclusively partnering with a growing E-commerce business in Sussex to recruit a Head of Finance.This retail business combines strong momentum with increasing operational complexity. The role will play a central part in strengthening financial control, improving processes and building a scalable finance function to support the next phase of growth.The RoleReporting to the Finance Director, the Head of Finance will take ownership of core financial operations while helping to shape a more robust and future-ready finance function.You will:Strengthen the overall financial control environment, including processes, reconciliations and policiesLead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate management reportingOwn cash flow forecasting and working capital management, improving visibility and controlSupport the budgeting and reforecasting cycle, providing review, challenge and insightOversee tax and statutory compliance (VAT, PAYE, corporation tax), working with external advisorsLead on year-end audit and statutory reporting, coordinating internal and external stakeholdersDevelop and mentor a growing finance team, building capability and independenceIdentify and implement process improvements, automation and system enhancements (including AI where appropriate)Support the business through international expansion and multi-entity ..... full job details .....
