Head of Finance - Hertfordshire - £100,000 + Bonus + BensOur client is a large group operating across multiple sites, with a diverse customer base that includes a number of blue-chip businesses. This is a newly enhanced, senior commercial finance role within one of the group''s core divisions, offering genuine influence over strategic and operational decision-making.They are currently seeking a commercially astute, qualified accountant to act as the critical link between finance and the business, working in close partnership with the Divisional Managing Director and General Managers across the division''s manufacturing sites.This is a hands-on, business-facing role for someone who wants to move beyond traditional reporting and become a genuine commercial partner to operations.Key Responsibilities:Reviewing sales forecasts in partnership with the Commercial DirectorAnalysing sales activity to forecast labour and resourcing requirementsLeading forecasting and budgeting for the divisionReviewing and interpreting PandLs, and driving understanding of variancesPresenting monthly PandL performance to the senior leadership teamPartnering with General Managers and cost centre managers to identify efficiencies and maintain forecast accuracyReviewing and driving key business KPIsOwning capital expenditure appraisal, ensuring ROI is maximised across the divisionDelivering analysis and insight that links financial performance to business strategyActing as a trusted commercial advisor to ..... full job details .....
