Head of Finance Business Partnering who is able to provide financial support including insight, risk identification, risk mitigation and business solutions to drive high performance is required for a well-established organisation based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

SALARY: £50,718 - £53,387 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid Working with your time split working from home and the office in Leeds, West Yorkshire

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Head of Finance Business Partnering who is able to provide financial support including insight, risk identification, risk mitigation and business solutions to drive high performance.

Working as the Head of Finance Business Partnering you will provide strategic financial partnership to the Director of Contract Relationship Management in order to support, challenge and influence performance against all contract deliverables.

Reporting to the CFO / Chief Financial Officer, as the Head of Finance Business Partnering you will ensure the totality of contracts are accounted for accurately and provide robust financial forecasts to support the wider financial performance of the organisation through the development of a team of Financial Contract Delivery Partners.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Head of Finance Business Partnering will include:

Innovative Problem Solving: Foster a culture of results-focused insights, idea generation, innovative and creative problem solving, and calculated risk-taking by shaping and guiding the team to deliver exceptional strategic and commercial support across all contractsPartnering: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their commitment to achieving results through financial insight and ensuring the Finance Business Partner (FBP) model is embedded in decision-makingInsightful Contractual Performance: Lead the financial contract performance reporting measures providing insight, support, influence and challenge to provide clarity, drive performance and remedial action when needed, including insight into the organisation’s MIS and learning deliveryLeadership: Lead, develop and role model both strategically and operationally all colleagues driving a culture of accountability and collaborationCollaboration: Collaborate with the CFO during the financial forecasting and strategic planning cycle to incorporate contractual performance considerations, risk and opportunity for growthFinancial Literacy: Improve financial literacy across the organisation, supporting strategies for efficiency, cost consciousness, and resource optimisation

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or by experience)Proven track record leading a finance business partnering team, partnering a senior leaderAbility to interpret complex or detailed legislation, policy or strategy documents to identify financial implications and provide insightful financial adviceCan demonstrate strong commercial acumen and evidence how you’ve driven business performance and show the wider business how finance can add value on a day-to-day basisExperience of advising, challenging and negotiating with senior leaders, managers and budget holders in a confident mannerAbility to use a range of communication and influencing techniques to successfully negotiate, collaborate or effect changeAnalytical thinking and problem solvingFinance modelling
