Head of Finance

We''re partnering with a well-established care charity to recruit an Interim Head of Finance for an initial six-month contract.Joining at a pivotal time, you''ll lead the finance function through the annual budgeting cycle while driving improvements to financial planning and forecasting. A key priority will be supporting the implementation of a new planning tool, helping to enhance reporting, business partnering and financial insight across the organisation. There is a possibility the role could go permanent for the right candidate. Key responsibilitiesLead the annual budgeting, forecasting and planning process.Support the implementation of a new financial planning system.Produce insightful management reporting and financial analysis.Partner with budget holders and senior leaders to support decision-making.Oversee monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting and financial controls.Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.Lead and develop a small finance team.About youYou''ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) with experience leading finance in a complex organisation.You''ll bring:Strong budgeting, forecasting and FPandA experience.A commercial, business-partnering approach.Experience improving finance processes or implementing planning/reporting systems.Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate financial information clearly.Charity sector experience is beneficial but not essential.This is a fantastic opportunity to make ..... full job details .....
