Head of Finance - St Neots (Cambs) - Attractive salary-

ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Head of Finance / Finance Lead, for our client who continue to grow their client base and dominate their market.-

This is a hands-on, standalone role for an experienced and commercially-minded finance professional who enjoys taking ownership and helping build a growing business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Running the day-to-day finance function, including bookkeeping oversight, ledgers and financial controls
• Producing month-end accounts, management reporting and forecasting
• Driving process improvements, efficiencies, automation and improvements in data quality
• Supporting acquisitions, investments and strategic growth initiatives
• Working closely with their-portfolio businesses, helping support financial visibility, performance improvement and informed decision-making across the wider group
• Helping turn financial information into meaningful commercial insight and decision-making
• Identifying opportunities to improve profitability, cash flow and overall business performance

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Hands-on and willing to roll their sleeves up
• Commercially minded and able to understand the story behind the numbers
• Comfortable operating across both day-to-day finance and strategic initiatives
• Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Looking for a role with genuine ownership, responsibility and scope to grow
