A leading independent prep school in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire is seeking an engaging, dedicated and experienced English practitioner to be Head of English.

The Head of English will teach-from Year 5 up to Year 8 including Common Entrance and Scholarship level and the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the English curriculum from Reception to Year 8. The Head of English will-lead and be part of a dynamic, conscientious and excellent department of six.

This independent prep school is set in an idyllic location, where all members of the community can develop, learn and thrive. The school promotes respect, honesty and a curiosity to learn and whilst there is academic rigour this doesn''t replace the desire for pupils to have fun and immerse themselves in every area of school life.
