Overview of Role Theravada Solutions, a digital and technology specialist in the Retail and Hospitality sector, is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Engineering to lead our Engineering department. This individual will oversee all engineering functions, drive the execution of our technical vision and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong technical background, proven management experience and a passion for innovation in the IT services space. This role is office based, supporting customers throughout the UK and Ireland. The scope of Theravada s engineering activities includes, but is not limited to Digital Signage (IP rated screens, window displays, digital menu boards etc), Drive-Thru Solutions (audio, cabling, induction loops, speaker posts etc), Video Walls, POS, CCTV, Networking (routers, switches, APs etc), Network Cabling and Containment. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute the engineering strategy aligned with the company''s goals and growth plans. Lead and scale a high-performing engineering team across multiple disciplines. Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term planning and product/service roadmaps. Project and Delivery Management: Oversee delivery of all engineering projects, ensuring quality, timeliness and budget adherence.
