Head of Engineering

Head of Engineering £60,000 to £75,000 depending on experience Full-time Office-based BD20 We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead our Engineering Design function and play a key role in the continued development and future direction of the business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and as a member of the Senior Management Team, you will provide technical and strategic leadership for the Engineering function. You will lead and develop the Engineering team, drive product development and continuous improvement, and ensure our products continue to meet the demanding requirements of our customers and markets. What you''ll be doing Leading, developing and supporting the Engineering Design team. Overseeing the design and development of new and existing valve products. Driving product improvement, innovation and engineering best practice. Working closely with Production Engineering to improve manufacturability and efficiency. Strengthening engineering processes, technical documentation and drawing control. Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, legislation and customer requirements. Managing departmental priorities, capacity, budgets and KPIs. Providing technical leadership and support across the wider business. Working directly with customers, auditors and external bodies.
