North Northamptonshire Council is seeking an experienced Head of Education Effectiveness and Quality Assurance to provide strategic leadership across Early Years, School Effectiveness, School Governance, and Education Safeguarding.Reporting to the Assistant Director of Education, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the Education Improvement Framework 2025–2028, ensuring every child and young person in North Northamptonshire has access to high-quality education.Key Responsibilities
Lead and implement strategies to drive educational effectiveness for children aged 0–16Oversee school improvement, governance, and safeguarding responsibilitiesCollaborate with schools, early years settings, and multi-agency partners to improve outcomesInfluence and advise senior leaders, stakeholders, and elected membersDrive innovation, resource optimisation, and system-led improvement modelsLead and inspire a diverse workforce, promoting continuous professional developmentIdeal Candidate
