Our client is a charity that has pioneered a new way of working with children at the tipping point of need - building the social, emotional, and academic skills they need to flourish in their schools and communities, rather than following negative pathways. The team will recruit their new Head of Donor Development and Prospectus is leading the search. Head of Donor Development £58,000-£62,999 Permanent Hybrid from home and White City, London office The Head of Donor Development will build and grow a new portfolio of major donors, to contribute to the overall Philanthropy income of £4.5 million per annum with an initial target developed in co-production with the Director of Fundraising and Head of Philanthropy. This is a new role focused on donor acquisition - you will be responsible for identifying, cultivating and securing new philanthropic supporters. You will build your own pipeline of prospects, focusing on donors with the capacity to give six-figure gifts, through research, networks and introductions from the charity''s CEO, trustees and supporters. Over time, you will be stewarding and growing those relationships. The Head of Donor Development will have a strong track record of securing new five- and six-figure gifts from individual donors and private or family foundations. You will be experienced in personally building a major donor pipeline and of developing a fundraising strategy and delivering against income targets.
