Head of Digital Resilience and Business Continuity (BCDR)

Protect the resilience of critical public services relied upon by individuals, businesses and the wider UK economy. The Insolvency Service, in partnership with Inspire People, is seeking a Head of Digital Resilience and Business Continuity (BCDR) with expertise in Azure Site Recovery (ASR), cloud disaster recovery, business continuity, cyber resilience and governance. Based in Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Exeter, Ipswich, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Nottingham on a permanent Grade 7 appointment, this role offers flexible hybrid working and a salary of £57,367 to £63,319 (National). Building Digital Resilience Across the Insolvency Service Insolvency Service is modernising its resilience posture and establishing an agency-wide Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery capability. This role will lead the strategy, delivery and assurance of disaster recovery across multiple Azure environments and suppliers, ensuring essential public services remain available during major disruptions including cyber incidents, infrastructure failures and other critical events.
