Head of Department - Family LawWorcestershire An experienced Family Solicitor is sought for a Head of Department role to lead and develop a Family Law team while delivering excellent client service. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to step into a Head of Department role. The Role The successful candidate will manage a varied Family Law caseload including divorce, financial remedies, child arrangements, consent orders, TOLATA claims and pre/post-nuptial agreements. They will supervise and support a small team of solicitors, trainees and support staff, ensuring high professional standards, regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for clients, many of whom will be dealing with sensitive and complex family matters.Key RequirementsQualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a current practising certificateSubstantial post-qualification experience in Family LawStrong leadership and supervision skillsExperience dealing with Legal Aid matters and Family Court proceduresExcellent client care, communication and drafting skillsConfident use of case management systems and Microsoft 365Commercial awareness and willingness to support business developmentDesirableResolution membership or Family Law accreditationExperience in Public Law or Care ProceedingsPrevious leadership or departmental management experienceThis is an opportunity for a senior family lawyer to play a key role in shaping and developing a growing department, mentoring junior lawyers and ..... full job details .....
