An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen for a senior delivery professional to take the helm of housing adaptation and development projects across Birmingham. My client, a forward-thinking Housing Association, is looking for a Head of Delivery to drive excellence, efficiency, and innovation across all projects.

The Role
This is a strategic leadership position with responsibility for:

• Directing and overseeing a diverse portfolio of housing adaptation and development projects.
• Leading multiple project teams and contractor networks to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
• Setting standards for quality, cost control, and health & safety compliance.
• Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimise delivery processes.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with residents, stakeholders, and partner organisations.
• Reporting to senior leadership and providing insight on delivery performance, risks, and solutions.

What You''ll Bring

• Extensive experience in construction or housing project delivery, ideally within social housing.
• Proven leadership of large, multi-million-pound projects and teams of contractors.
• Outstanding organisational, strategic, and communication skills.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to deliver results across multiple projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence, inspire, and drive alignment across teams.
