Head of Datacomms

Job Title: Head of Datacomms Location: London / South East Salary: £70,000 £80,000 Are you an experienced Head of Datacomms based in London or the South East looking for your next opportunity? As a Head of Datacomms, you will be responsible for leading the technical delivery and commercial performance of Day 2 datacomms and structured cabling works, managing moves, adds, changes and remedial projects across prestigious commercial estates and live, business-critical environments. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality managed IT and infrastructure solutions to its customers. Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of Day 2 datacomms works, including moves, adds, changes and remedial projects across live and occupied environments. Oversee planning, scheduling, permits, method statements and change control to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Manage blown fibre design, installation, testing and commissioning, reviewing test results, as-built documentation and technical submissions. Manage estimating, variations, cost control and margin protection, supporting tenders and pre-sales activity with technical input and risk assessments. Lead, develop and manage engineers, site teams and subcontractors, acting as the escalation point for technical and delivery issues.
