Head of Damp, Mould and Disrepair Location: London Rate: £630 per dayContract: 3 - 6 MonthsSpencer Clarke Group are recruiting for an interim Head of Damp, Mould and Disrepair to lead a high-profile service within a housing provider. This role reports into an Assistant Director and carries responsibility for leading a team of circa 10 and overseeing delivery through directly employed operatives and contractors.The postholder will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate record keeping, strong governance and delivery that meets statutory requirements, including Awaab''s Law and wider housing disrepair expectations.Responsibilities includeLeading the Damp, Mould and Disrepair service, team performance and operational deliveryOverseeing delivery via direct labour and contractors, including performance managementEnsuring robust record keeping and evidence trails to support statutory complianceWorking with key stakeholders across property services to manage risk, priorities and reportingDriving continuous improvement across processes, controls and customer outcomesAbout YouSenior leadership experience within social housing property services (repairs, disrepair, damp and mould)Strong working knowledge of Awaab''s Law and disrepair compliance expectationsProven experience leading teams and managing contractor deliveryConfident operating in a high-scrutiny environment with complex cases and stakeholder demandsComfortable in an on-site, hands-on leadership roleHow ..... full job details .....
