Head of Contract Delivery & External Works

This position can be broken down to six main areas of responsibility within this Engineering, Manufacturing and construction role, they are as follows

1. Strategic Leadership & organisational Development
- Lead the development of the Company''s external works structure,
- Develop and implement an overarching strategy for Contract Delivery, Commissioning, Service and Maintenance
- Establish clear interfaces between Sales, Estimating, Technical, Manufacturing, Contract Delivery, Commissioning, Service and Maintenance functions

2. Contract Review & Commercial Risk Management
-Own the Company''s contract review process for external works from pre-order through to delivery

3. Contract Installation
-Have overall responsibility for the delivery of Contract Installation activities.
-Develop and maintain an appropriate mix of internal resources and approved external subcontractors to provide the capacity and capability required to deliver the Company''s installation commitments.
-Monitor project performance against programme, budget, quality and contractual requirements

4. Commissioning & Systems Delivery
- Have overall responsibility for the Company''s commissioning activities associated with external works.
- Other systems where commissioning forms part of the Company''s contractual or service offering.

5. Service & Maintenance
- Provide overarching management responsibility for the Company''s newly established Service and Maintenance Division.

6. Leadership & Performance Management
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to departmental managers.
- Promote collaboration and effective communication across all departments

This position reports directly to the Sales and Marketing Director, it is a permanent full time role working 36 hours per week
