Head of ConflictsLeading entrepreneurial international law firm seeks a new Head of Conflicts to join their London office to directly support a Risk and Compliance Partner:Generous salary + excellent employee benefitsAnnual gym membership contributionLong service annual leave accrualHybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)City location / BankThe Head of Conflicts will report to the Risk and Compliance Partner and the successful candidate will be required to conduct a gap analysis and to train and build up a team of conflicts analysts. Line management and supervision of those currently running conflict checks will be required.Key Responsibilities of the Head of Conflicts:Lead on, and successfully deliver, a large-scale project to implement improvements to the firm''s internal conflicts processes and procedures.Identify and resolve potential conflicts of interest and confidentiality issues arising from client matters, lateral hires, and mergers.Draft waivers and consent language required in the resolution of conflicts of interest and confidentiality issues.Update the conflicts and confidentiality provisions in the firm''s Terms of Business, as may be necessary from time to time.Lead on internal investigations and other queries which involve conflict of interest or confidentiality issues.Draft and update the firm''s internal conflicts of interest policies and procedures.Provide training to partners and staff, globally, on conflicts of interest and ..... full job details .....
