Your new companyA highly respected Lloyd''s market insurance business based in the City of London is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance to lead and develop its compliance function. Operating within a dynamic and regulated environment, the organisation has a strong reputation for underwriting excellence and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory governance and compliance across its operations.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and well-established insurer at a senior leadership level, playing a pivotal role in shaping the compliance strategy and ensuring the organisation remains fully aligned with evolving regulatory expectations.Your new roleAs Head of Compliance, you will hold responsibility for leading the compliance framework across the business, acting as a key adviser to the executive team and Board on regulatory matters. The successful candidate will be approved to hold SMF16 (Compliance Oversight) and SMF17 (Money Laundering Reporting Officer) responsibilities and will ensure the organisation maintains strong relationships with both the FCA and PRA.You will oversee the design, implementation and ongoing enhancement of the compliance monitoring programme, ensuring robust systems and controls are in place to identify, assess and mitigate regulatory risks.
