Gloucestershire Managed Services (GMS) is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Compliance and Safety to lead our compliance, risk, and assurance functions across Cheltenham and Gloucester hospitals. In this high-profile leadership role, you''ll ensure all GMS services meet their statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and patient safety.Responsibilities

Develop and lead GMS-wide compliance and assurance frameworks.Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, including health and safety and environmental standards.Oversee audits, inspections, incident investigations, and risk management.Provide expert advice and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.Represent GMS with external regulators and agencies.Lead and support a high-performing compliance team.Qualifications

Senior-level experience in compliance, HandS, or risk management.Master''s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.CMIOSH, MIIRSM or similar professional qualification.Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.Healthcare, NHS, or facilities management experience desirable.Benefits
