About the Role

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Public Protection and Neighbourhoods, this Senior Management role will lead on policy and strategy development / delivery and act as the interface between the council and partners across a range of critical areas focussed on improving community safety and emergency resilience. This includes Community Safety Partnership, Safeguarding Board arrangements, Criminal Justice, Domestic Abuse, Prevent and Hate, Serious Violence, Local Resilience Forum amongst other key policy areas which all require a clear, co-ordinated and consistent approach to ensure the achievement of not just the councils\'' objectives but that of wider partners too.This is a pivotal role in the delivery of the council\''s vision and corporate priorities, and the post holder is expected to promote and model our organisational values in all aspects of their work.About you

We\''re looking for a strategic leader, someone who is keen to make a difference, and cares about Rochdale.You will have extensive experience and be a confident leader with the ability to provide professional advice and expertise to senior officers, politicians and partners.
