As Head of Commodity Management for Gas Turbine Auxilliaries

you will lead and develop a high-performing team of commodity managers. Your role is to develop and implement commodity strategies that support our growing business, increase resilience of the supply chain and drive cost out. You will collaborate closely with key collaborators in the business, such as the heads of procurement in each business and Corporate Procurement.How You’ll Make An Impact

Develop and implement commodity strategies for direct material for small and aero gas turbine auxiliariesImprove supply chain resilience and adjust sourcing strategies to changing global risk patterns through development of suppliers in new sourcing regions and strong supplier relationship managementPartner with cross-functional teams to deliver commodity management services, offering guidance on reducing costs, managing risks, and new supply chain technologies and trendsActively participate in the development Strategic Procurement based on the company’s missionWhat You Bring

Proven skills in managing teams and developing peopleUniversity degree in a technical or business related field or equivalent experienceA collaborative and inclusive leadership style that fosters accountability and ownership within the teamTrack record in commodity strategy, contract management and capacity expansion initiativesCapability to negotiate and to operate in different culturesKnowledge of working with a global supplier base, in a functional matrix environmentWho Is Siemens Energy
