Forward Assist Recruitment is partnering with an established and highly respected business operating across live events, entertainment and technical production to appoint a Head of Commercial.

This is a pivotal senior leadership position offering genuine influence, significant responsibility and a potential pathway to Commercial Director within the next couple of years.

What You''ll Be Doing

• Leading, coaching and developing an established commercial team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Using data, performance metrics and commercial insight to inform decisions, identify opportunities and drive sustainable growth.
• Taking ownership of sales forecasting, pipeline management and commercial performance.
• Building strong relationships across departments to ensure commercial commitments translate into successful delivery.
• Developing and implementing strategic initiatives that strengthen both individual and team performance.
• Championing sustainability and ensuring commercial decisions reflect the company''s values.
• Contributing to wider business strategy as an influential member of the Senior Leadership Team.

What We''re Looking For

• A proven track record of leading and developing successful sales or commercial teams, with measurable results.
• Experience within a production-led environment, ideally live events, AV, entertainment, technical production or a relevant adjacent sector.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding, including forecasting, pipeline management and margin protection.
• Confidence interpreting and leveraging data to improve business performance and unlock opportunities.
• A collaborative, people-focused leadership style, with the ability to influence, motivate and build meaningful relationships.
• Strategic thinking combined with a willingness to be hands-on.
• Experience of working collaboratively across operational, technical and commercial functions.
• A genuine personal commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
